Newton was born on January 4 ,1643 ,in England.He was so weak, first days no one expexted him to live.His father had died before Newton born.When Newton was four years old his mom married another person so his mom move to near her husband.Newton’s mom left Newton to his grandmother and Newton have stayed his grandmother for 7 years. When Newton’s mom’s husband died, she went back with heritage.Newton started education in grantham while he was 12 and he finished education in 1661.At one term his mother picked him up from school for farming but he wasn’t interested in farming.His mom supposed he was doing farm works but he examined air,read books and took some notes.Finally Newton convinced his mom that he need to prepare to universty and he went back to the school.Newton entered Tirinty College in 1661. He both worked and studied. İn Cambridge Copernicus and Kelpler’s theories were ignored,Gallileo’s works were not recognized and Aristotle's philosophy dominated. He took some cours about algebra,geometry and trigonometry, he learnd Ancient Greek and Latin in Cambridge. At this term Newton met Gallileo and Kelper’s works and he was so impressed. Also he read Descartes,Gassendi,Hobbes and especially Boyle’s philosophical studies.Newton showed his genius during the plague epidemic in farm.In1665 Cambridge closed because of plague epidemic and Newton stayed in Woolsthorpe farm until in 1667. At this term he started to think about gravity. İn farm he laid the foundations of differential and integral calculation.In a dark room on the farm,he created a specturm of light with sunlight and a prism and he realized that white light isn’t a single unit.In 1667 Cambridge opened so Newton went Cambridge again and two years later he became a math professor.Newton stayed in Cambridge about 30 years and thanks to letters he talked to other scientist and he continued his studies alone.These days he prepared his greatest work Principia book and he completed it. In the farm as a result of his studies on light he realized eyepiece telescopes have some flaws so he developed a reflecting telescope. In 1668 this telescope attracted the attention of the scientific world and in 1672 he became a member of Royal Society.In 1696 Newton got an offer from the royal mint directorate then he accepted it and he moved to London.Newton took it seriously especially he started a big struggle to fake money.Newton loved life in London but he didn’t want continue his academic studies. In 1703 appointed head of Royal Society and he remained there until his death.In 1704 he published a book which called Opticks.In 1705 he received teh knightood.Newton died on March 31,1727 and he was buried in Wesminster Monastery.
