This is the snowy owl. When you see it, you can understand how it got its name. Snowy owls are snow-white. They can live for 10 years. They weigh up to 30 kg and measure about 65 cm. They have large wings. They can see and hear very well and catch their prey quietly. They eat small animals like mice, rabbits or even fish. So, they are carnivores.
